I just finished watching Crash. If you haven’t seen it, see it. Visions of Magnolia are dancing in my head, but this seemed to be a more refined offering. Much to think about. Thoughts on Crash?

Just one thought: thanks for taking the last copy from Family Video this weekend. They told us it was you. We were stuck watching Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy … again … and Big on VHS. VHS, Gaff. Big. Thanks a lot.
I have a copy of Big on VHS; I cued it up to the ‘floor piano in the toy store’ scene to pump me up for the Carnival of Clavinovas. It was mildly successful.
loved Crash. I thought it was a very powerful statement and it made me look at some of my own racist thoughts that i would even have thought were racist. I was very moved by this movie. one of my favorites of the year.
